Laurie Sayed is Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Ventas. In this role, she leads the Company’s enterprise-wide accounting organization. A member of Ventas’s senior leadership team, she also oversees the Company’s relationship with its independent external auditor.

Sayed brings more than twenty years of accounting, finance and controllership experience across global real estate and industrial organizations. Prior to joining Ventas, she served as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Global Controller of Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK), where she led the company’s Global Controllership and Tax functions and served as Principal Accounting Officer. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Sayed held senior international finance leadership roles with Prysmian Group and General Cable Corporation. She began her career at Deloitte, where she spent more than a decade in audit and financial reporting.

Sayed is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Grand Valley State University.
